Today we went into second life with the owner who owns that CISI island. I find that its very boring sometimes listening to people and following their direction. So i kept on doing stuff and changing my seats or clothes. First i did not know how to change my appearances and things like that. I thought like you had to create your own hairstyle. But today i found out that you can but that kind of hair you dont need to create. I think it takes a long time even create even a simple hairstyle.

Today we went into our second life. It was pretty fun with a lot of people. I went in the Island like 3 hours ago just to explore. I found that the island was very good and a lot of stuff was there. I was surprised that we could not play the guitar and the drums. When other people came it at 9 it was getting more fun people were flying so was i fly around to explore more. I like the box that is in the sky i went there and like stood there and feel down. I found that our meeting was bit short perhaps we should do it for a bit more longer time like 1 hour or maybe 45 minutes would be better. I had a problem like i was hearing sound like it was recorded and had problems listening to Ms. Lindsay. Later on it was fixed, i found it fun that flying around and listening to people.

My personality in classroom is very nice but not quiet i like to make people laugh, and i am very funny.

My comunication is good with everyone i like to communicate and interact with lots of people. I would rate myself a 4
3) How important do you think it is for your learning to have a “sense of community” in the classroom? Please explain.
4) Are there some learning (classroom) activities where the use of technology helps you learn? If so, please explain why?
5) Are there some learning (classroom) activities where technology does not help you learn? If so, please explain why?

6) What are some ways that technology may connect people together?
Social networking, e-mailling each other chatting.
7) What are some ways that technology may make people feel disconnected?
8) Is there anything that you don’t like about technology? If so, explain.
Sometimes when you search for some things you dont completly the same thing but you think its related to your topic but later you find out that its not when your teacher give you feedback.
9) What role does technology play in your learning?
I learn better with technology because i think more divergently while i am using online, when i am using old books they get boring and my mind cannot think too much more than memorizing those words.
10) Are there any ways that technology gets in the way of your learning? If yes, provide some examples.
Not really cant think of them.

11) What are the virtual learning tools we use in the classroom already? Describe briefly how these are used to support your learning.
We use eluminate, our wiki, ning
12) What do you think are the advantages of using tools that allow us to connect and collaborate online? What are the disadvantages?
We do not need to be physically presenting in the meeting like, you can be in another country and still participate in the meeting.
13) Have you had a 3D virtual world experience before? If yes, describe your experience.
I have used SL for 2 days but still i cannot figure out how to chat with people.
14) What do you think classroom learning will be like inside a virtual world like Second Life (SL)?
It is going to be very fun, we are going to meet some people online and we might be able to share some thoughts.

I dont really mind what my avatar is.
